Job Overview
FLINT Corp. is currently seeking experienced Journeyperson Electricians to become integral members of our innovative workforce. As a key contributor, you will utilize your technical skills to maintain the efficiency and safety of our electrical systems and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will encompass the upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of vital electrical components that support our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of process instrumentation, communication networks, and control apparatus, including flow computers and tank gauging systems.
- Analyze and interpret data from SCADA systems, LOI displays, and P&ID diagrams to ensure operational safety.
- Assist in programming and troubleshooting Local Operator Interfaces and Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Diagnose issues with electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
- Provide essential support and maintenance for instrumentation to guarantee system reliability.
- Employ pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing instruments to evaluate and diagnose instrument and system performance.
- Repair, maintain, and adjust system components or replace defective parts as necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a valid Journeyperson Electrician certification.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to personal safety and the safeguarding of company resources and personnel.
- Exhibit the ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
- Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Physically capable of fulfilling all job-related duties, including heavy lifting, climbing, and other physical tasks.
Additional Information
This role is classified as safety-sensitive and will necessitate the completion of drug and alcohol testing.
