About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Freight Account Executive to join our World Class Sales team at FedEx Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion in the transborder LTL market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and closing new business opportunities through regular client visits and scheduled appointments to acquire profitable new business in the transborder LTL market.
  • Maintaining and growing revenue for all Freight accounts, focusing on goal attainment and minimizing customer churn.
  • Staying up-to-date with market trends, including competition, customs, pricing, and product classification.
  • Developing and delivering formal presentations tailored to meet the needs of potential and existing customers.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals that maximize revenue and yield, adhering to FedEx Canada's pricing guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.
  • 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the LTL industry.
  • Experience selling to the C-Suite.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, communication, and rapport-building capabilities.
  • Valid Class G driver's license (preferred).
  • Regular overnight travel (5-10%).
