Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Guard to join our team at Blackbird Security Inc. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Work Site Environment: You will be working in an air-conditioned environment.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses: A Security Guard License is required for this position.
  • Screening Questions: You must be legally able to work in Canada.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience is preferred.
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Monitoring and responding to security alarms
  • Patrolling the premises to prevent and detect security breaches
  • Providing customer service to clients and visitors
  • Assisting with emergency situations, such as fires or medical emergencies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A valid Security Guard License
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
