Position Overview
We are in search of a highly proficient Process Engineer III to become a vital member of our Advanced Technology team. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in mechanical engineering, coupled with a demonstrated history of designing manufacturing systems. You will engage with multiple departments to incorporate innovative technologies that enhance our design and manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of technology and facilitate knowledge transfer within your area of expertise.
- Initiate and execute technical projects aimed at developing new or enhanced technologies.
- Conduct comprehensive engineering evaluations of emerging technology concepts.
- Oversee the design and implementation of structured experimental protocols to inform data-driven decisions.
- Apply engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices, and techniques effectively.
- Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies, lean principles, and best practices to drive improvements in products and processes.
- Work autonomously and adeptly manage non-routine challenges.
- Navigate high levels of ambiguity with confidence.
- Design and implement manufacturing processes that enhance capabilities and efficiencies, providing a competitive advantage for our organization and our clients.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders during key technical updates.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to technicians and junior engineers.
- Comply with all aspects of the Quality Management System.
- Exemplify company values, demonstrate integrity, and contribute positively to the corporate culture.
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and report any unsafe working conditions to management.
- Travel occasionally as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques.
- Strong skills in root cause analysis.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Solid understanding of experimental design and statistical analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in the medical device sector is advantageous.
