Your responsibilities will include leading a talented group of engineers and expanding the team to meet the growing demands of our projects.

Typical projects may involve the design or rehabilitation of infrastructure, including buildings, roads, hydraulic structures, and earthworks, as well as addressing slope stability, soil dynamics, and both temporary and permanent retaining structures.

This position will primarily focus on serving both private and public clients, with opportunities for projects in various regions.

Our mission is to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in this mission, leveraging your expertise to help On The Spot Entertainment achieve its objectives.

We provide a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from our offices.

Your tasks will include:

  • Planning and designing geotechnical projects through comprehensive site investigations, including exploratory drilling, sampling, testing, and data analysis to formulate recommendations.
  • Evaluating geological and geotechnical data to ascertain the characteristics and behavior of soil and rock materials at construction sites.
  • Determining stability, load-bearing capacity, and settlement characteristics based on your analyses.
  • Ensuring timely and cost-effective project execution while adhering to safety standards.
  • Providing guidance and supervision to junior team members, including mentoring, training, and monitoring their work quality.
  • Offering technical support to other departments involved in the design and planning of tunnels, highways, and bridges that incorporate geotechnical considerations.
  • Identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with geotechnical projects, including natural disasters.
  • Maintaining client relationships through effective communication regarding project status, contract negotiations, and technical support.
  • Establishing and overseeing quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability in geotechnical analyses and reports, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications include:

  • A university degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering, particularly in Linear Infrastructure, with a proven track record of leading complex studies and managing large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software for slope stability, drainage, and finite element analysis, along with experience in utilizing drone technology for surveys and analyses.
  • Strong ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams, including Geotechnical and Geological Engineers, as well as environmental specialists.
