As the Retail Operations Lead, you will play a crucial role in delivering operational assistance to the Retail sales teams. Your primary responsibilities will include documenting and analyzing existing business workflows, pinpointing areas for improvement, and suggesting enhancements to minimize errors, optimize processes, and ultimately boost sales performance within the Retail sector.
In this capacity, you will spearhead significant projects that influence the Retail sales teams, support various initiatives, and facilitate change management efforts. As a specialist in the Retail domain, you will cultivate strong relationships with leadership and sales representatives. Additionally, you will oversee the reporting and management of the operational budget and expenditures for the Retail Channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Directing project execution as the primary stakeholder of change; advocating for the Retail channel
- Overseeing internal projects; collaborating cross-functionally with teams to establish project timelines and monitor deliverables
- Communicating project plans, outcomes, and updates to Sales Leadership
- Defining, documenting, and supporting daily operations and operational programs, processes, and policies within Retail channels
- Identifying knowledge or process gaps and proposing new methodologies, tools, or solutions to support Retail sales objectives
- Planning, managing, and reporting on all operational budgets and expenditures for the Retail channel
- Managing and supporting knowledge management tools and resources
- Leading transitions for Retail locations, including onboarding and offboarding processes
- Providing assistance to and collaborating with internal stakeholders and project teams
- Evaluating agent and customer impact and effectively communicating details
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in telecommunications, sales support, or Retail sales
- 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, operations, or channel support
- Exceptional presentation and project management abilities
- Strong communication skills (both internal and external)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Retail systems (such as Retail IQ, Oracle, CREATE, etc.)
- Meticulous attention to detail with the capability to analyze needs and convey complex findings in a clear manner
- Creative, self-driven individual with confidence and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
