Automotive Finance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and financial institutions, ensuring the collection of necessary financing, insurance, licensing, and personal information.
  • Prepare and submit credit applications for clients, offering alternative financing solutions for those who may not receive immediate approval.
  • Review all essential documentation with clients to facilitate the completion of transactions.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to successfully close deals and enhance customer satisfaction, while maintaining close communication with other departments to support a streamlined and profitable sales process.
  • Proactively engage with clients to promote financing options, extended warranties, insurance, and additional services to boost both customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding all sensitive client information.
  • Develop a systematic approach to assess deals in line with lender and dealership standards.
  • Maintain an updated lender guide of all applicable programs and ensure comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Analyze credit reports to identify conventional deals and process them accordingly.
  • Prepare specialized finance deals and associated profit analyses.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Automotive Financial Services.
  • OMVIC Certification is mandatory.
  • Experience with Dealer CRM systems is essential.
  • Previous sales experience in automotive, retail, or hospitality sectors is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing circumstances.
  • Creative and persuasive negotiation skills with clients.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude, even under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with a friendly and articulate approach.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Dealership Management Systems is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Proficient in using computers and peripherals, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills are necessary.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually
