Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
- Work may be conducted in confined spaces.
- Conditions may include dusty, noisy, and odorous environments.
- Non-smoking workplace.
- Perform routine maintenance by adding or replacing hydraulic and transmission fluids.
- Change engine oil and lubricate moving parts of various vehicles including automobiles, trucks, and heavy machinery.
- Install replacement components such as mufflers, exhaust pipes, and radiators.
- Conduct tire repairs and balancing.
- Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on a variety of motor vehicles.
- Basic security clearance is necessary.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are critical.
- Overtime may be required, and the role is physically demanding.
- Standing for extended periods is expected.
- Ability to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Flexibility and good judgment are important.
- Reliability and teamwork are key attributes.
- This is a permanent position.
- Work hours range from 30 to 35 hours per week.
