Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Operations Supervisor to join our team at Trans-Logic Truck Lines Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our trucking operations, ensuring that our fleet is running efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Trucking Operations: Oversee the daily activities of our trucking operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring the performance of our drivers and equipment.
  • Manage Fleet Maintenance: Ensure that our fleet is properly maintained, including regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
  • Develop and Implement Safety Protocols: Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure that our drivers and equipment are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Drivers and Dispatchers: Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to ensure that our trucks are running on schedule and that our customers are receiving excellent service.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process changes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Work Setting: Supervision, willing to relocate
  • Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure
