We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Proposal Specialist to join our team at ISC. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in helping us grow our business and contribute to our future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the end-to-end bid development process, ensuring timely and effective preparation of tailored responses and proposals.
  • Craft compelling and persuasive proposals that effectively communicate our organization's achievements, expertise, and value proposition to potential clients.
  • Lead collaboration efforts with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and input to incorporate into the bid preparation process.
  • Create and complete procurement-driven submissions that elevate responses to demonstrate our company's products, services, capabilities, and contributions in the industry.
  • Interpret and determine response requirements for proposals by identifying and clarifying objectives set forth by potential clients.
  • Consolidate details and data to produce polished, high-quality professional and compelling proposal responses.
  • Contribute to the proposal creation and execution project plans and oversee the assigned proposal team to ensure responses are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a field such as Business, Communications, Journalism, or English combined with 5+ years of experience writing formal proposal responses and/or Technical Writing.
  • Excellent writing, organizational, communication, and planning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines efficiently, including multiple competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability.
  • Ability to facilitate collaboration, encourage creative problem solving, and navigate conflict.
  • Strong relationship building skills, including the ability to persuade and motivate others.
  • Experience with proposal development or design software and advanced PowerPoint skills would be a definite asset.
