About the Role

We are seeking an Audit Professional to join our team. As an Audit Professional, you will work collaboratively with our audit management and other team members to assess key business risks and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of related processes and controls.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and participating in audit teams to provide leadership and improve the overall control environment within CIBC
  • Assessing key business risks and evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of related processes and controls
  • Identifying and communicating internal control inefficiencies to business line management
  • Advising business partners on best practices and promoting compliance with CIBC policies and procedures, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements


About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Audit Professional who is passionate about people and building relationships. You will have:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in audit practices, preferably with a focus on retail banking, capital markets, finance, and related regulatory environment
  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field and an Audit or Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA, ACCA)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and work collaboratively with others
