Position Overview
Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Leader seeking a rewarding challenge? Join our dedicated team at Parsons as we engage in significant remediation projects. We are in search of a proactive professional with a solid background in quality assurance and civil engineering to ensure that all project quality assurance and quality control aspects align with client expectations.
Primary Duties:
- Work collaboratively with project personnel and subcontractors to oversee quality assurance processes and inspections.
- Conduct inspections on concrete and earthworks, evaluate subcontractor performance, and liaise with clients regarding project operations.
- Assess compaction outcomes, validate quality documentation, and perform walkdowns with project stakeholders.
- Assist the Quality Manager in executing the Project Quality Plan and ensuring adherence to Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- Oversee the document management process for quality and project-related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Over 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Familiarity with Concrete, Civil, Earthworks, Piling, and Rock Anchor projects is advantageous.
- Understanding of civil engineering drawings and standards such as ASME and CSA.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment and foster positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
