Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2207455 Alberta Ltd O/A Shining Stars Daycare & OSC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily food service operations, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless food service delivery.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records of food service operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring stamina and endurance.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
- Employment Type: Permanent.
