Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2872670 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency in our kitchen operations.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance on food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and attention to detail.
  • Language: English.
