Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Administrator Assistant to join our team at BentallGreenOak. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our General Manager and Operations Manager, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager and Operations Manager, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.
- Manage tenant relations, including communication, invoicing, and lease administration.
- Assist with accounts payable, including coding, verifying, and entering invoices.
- Process tenant improvement payments and security deposit reconciliations.
- Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and welcome packages.
- Manage utility accounts, billing, collection, and reporting.
- Support vendors and suppliers with payment systems and processing.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly Visa transaction statements.
- Communicate with accounting staff, vendors, and contractors to resolve invoice inquiries.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of related accounts payable experience in the real estate industry or a similar field.
- High school diploma, with post-secondary accounting courses or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, manage tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with Yardi is an asset but not required.
