Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent service to our guests.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist with Cleaning Duties: Assist cleaning staff with their duties as needed, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are maintained to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the housekeeping team, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
