Position Details
We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Physics/Senior Math teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics and Math courses to high school students.
Qualifications
As per the Education Act and Regulations, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Physics and Math, with a proven track record of teaching and mentoring students. The successful candidate will also be required to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
Appointment of Occasional Teachers in Long Term Assignments
This assignment will be filled in accordance with Part A, Article 17.3 of the current OECTA Secondary Collective Agreement. Priority will be given to unplaced, qualified redundant teacher applicants from the Secondary Teacher bargaining in order of seniority. In the event the assignment remains unfilled, qualified applications from the Occasional Roster will be considered.
