Ethnic Food Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Old Caboose Restaurant LTD. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our menu standards and quality control procedures.
- Kitchen Operations: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and manage kitchen inventory to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to meet customer demands and maintain high-quality standards. You will be required to perform repetitive tasks and work in a team environment.
