About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Manager to lead our Wastewater Treatment Plant Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our wastewater treatment plants, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of approximately 80 staff in the maintenance and operation of wastewater treatment plants
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize maintenance performance and reduce costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A university degree in engineering or a related field
- 10 years of recent, related progressive experience in wastewater operations and maintenance
- Extensive technical expertise in the maintenance of utility systems related to wastewater operations
- Superior understanding of maintenance aspects affecting the design, construction, and operations and maintenance of wastewater facilities
- A formal professional or technical designation in an appropriate area of expertise
