Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST and other applicable taxes.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
