Academic Staff Opportunity in Education

The Faculty of Education at Brandon University is seeking a qualified Contract Academic Staff (CAS) to teach a course in our undergraduate program.
Course Details:
The course, Adolescent Development and the Learning Process (MY-SY), A02, will examine current theories of physical, cognitive, social/cultural, moral/spiritual, and aesthetic development of adolescents, in addition to theories of learning, and will focus on the application of those theories to classroom practice.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must hold a Master's Degree.
- Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D. in a related field.
- Applicants must qualify for a Manitoba teaching certificate and have a good understanding of the Manitoba school curriculum.
- Successful teaching experience and relevant expertise in the specified area are required.
Compensation:
The salary for this position is $6,901 per 3 credit hour course.
