Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Hospitality Inn Hotel.

Job Summary

The Building Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of the hotel's facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt from floors and surfaces
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for major repairs and maintenance
  • Perform safety and security checks to ensure guest and staff safety
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
