Job Summary

We're looking for a talented Bartender - Mixologist to join our team at Alchemy, a sophisticated cocktail bar located in the heart of the city. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve handcrafted cocktails to our discerning guests
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including cocktails, wine, and beer
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued
  • Work collaboratively with our bar team to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest mixology trends and techniques
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and maintaining beer keg and liquor levels

Requirements

  • Safe Serve Certification
  • Previous experience as a bartender and/or server in a similar environment
  • Enrolled or completed a Hospitality, Food & Beverage, and/or Special Events Program is an asset
  • Wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge is required
  • WSET certification preferred but not required
  • Passion for food, beverage, and providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift and move beer kegs, liquor, and wine boxes
