About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Shergill Developments Inc. as a Bricklayer and Masonry Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and installing masonry structures, including patios, garden walls, and decorative installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Lay Masonry Units: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units to build residential or commercial structures.
  • Construct and Install Prefabricated Masonry Units: Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, such as chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Build Decorative Installations: Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations using masonry materials.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required for masonry projects.
  • Cut and Trim Masonry Materials: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Restore and Clean Masonry Structures: Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures to maintain their appearance and integrity.
Work Environment

As a Masonry Specialist at Shergill Developments Inc., you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment. You will be part of a team that values safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in masonry work.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
