Job Title: Bricklayer

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team at Shergill Developments Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures. This includes preparing and installing prefabricated masonry units, constructing patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay bricks and other masonry units to build chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
  • Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in various locations, including residential and commercial construction sites.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week.
