Job Summary:

Ainsworth is seeking a skilled Chiller Technician to join our Toronto GTA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining chillers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot chillers and related equipment.
  • Install and repair equipment and components.
  • Assist in the overhaul and servicing of chillers.
  • Perform maintenance and repair on all chiller manufacturers.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the ongoing training and mentoring of indentured apprentices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

  • 4th year to mechanic certification.
  • G1/G2 license.
  • Certified Red Seal Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic.
  • Experience with centrifugal, screw, scroll, and piston compressors.
  • Tear down experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of HVAC Refrigeration trade practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preference given for dual Journeyman Certification (Electrician, Plumber, Gas).
