About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Lawn Care Labourer to join our team at The Better Way Inc. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions and installations
  • Tie and secure plants to prevent damage
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat appearance
  • Cut grass and other vegetation to maintain a uniform height
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep our spaces clean
  • Remove litter and garbage to ensure a safe environment
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their health and well-being
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficiency and safety
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position
  • Previous experience in this field is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
