As the Director, Global Employee Relations, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive work environment for our employees worldwide. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with Scotiabank's values and goals, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.

Your Impact:

  • Strategic Guidance: Develop and execute comprehensive employee relations strategies, policies, and programs that promote a fair, transparent, and inclusive workplace.
  • Expert Counsel: Provide expert advice and guidance to executives, managers, and employees on a wide range of employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to employee relations, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of employee relations professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Global Perspective: Collaborate with stakeholders across different regions and cultures to ensure consistent application of employee relations policies and practices.
