Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a Family Medicine Specialist at our Correctional Health Services to enhance access to primary healthcare, as well as mental health and substance use support for individuals in correctional settings. The Family Medicine Specialist plays a crucial role within the healthcare team, collaborating with various health professionals to provide exceptional care for clients, aiding them in leading fulfilling lives during their time in custody and as they transition back into the community.

Qualifications
What You Bring
- Eligibility for provisional or full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
- Mandatory certification with the College of Family Physicians or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with a diverse range of psychiatric conditions, substance use disorders, and personality challenges
- Background in Correctional Health and/or additional relevant certifications or training
