Job Title: Regional Manager, Safer Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager, Safer Care to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Safer Care management team, you will be responsible for the planning, functionality, and lifecycle of SaferCare Clinical Information Systems (CIS) used to manage operations and deliver care in Northern Health (NH) hospitals and long-term care (LTC) homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of SaferCare CIS services in accordance with NH practices and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders, Information Management Information Technology (IMIT), Biomedical Engineering, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery of CIS services.
  • Manage IMIT staff, projects, and deliverables to advance healthcare transformation and improve rural health spaces and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the use of CIS services among healthcare providers, nurses, allied health professionals, support staff, and operational managers.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Nursing, Health Information Sciences, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience with information systems, including a minimum of two (2) years in a project management, technical supervision, or management role.
  • Previous experience leading or managing enterprise systems in a complex multi-site environment, preferably integrated electronic health record-based hospital information systems.
  • Successful record of leading and managing large, high-profile implementation projects.
