Job Summary

As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to fresh, high-quality produce. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning the produce department to ensure efficient stock rotation and product visibility.
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness.
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet company standards.
  • Adhering to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols.
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and stocking merchandise.
  • Ensuring the department is fully stocked and ready for business.
  • Following Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.
