About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our team at Adastra. As an AWS Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's data infrastructure on the AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data processing pipelines using AWS Glue, RDS, and Redshift
  • Create and maintain scripts to automate data processing, monitoring, and reporting tasks
  • Collaborate with data analysts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
  • Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data processing pipelines using AWS Glue, RDS, and Redshift
  • Strong proficiency in Python or SQL programming languages
  • Familiarity with AWS Sagemaker and EMR is a plus
  • Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
