Building Trades Professional

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Linos Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed layouts and designs for construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create high-quality structures.
- Develop and submit tenders and quotations for construction projects, taking into account factors such as cost, materials, and timelines.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems, ensuring stability and safety.
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, paying close attention to detail and quality.
- Conduct site surveys and level checks to ensure accurate measurements and layouts.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects, providing accurate and detailed reports.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, requiring a combination of physical stamina and mental focus. The role involves:
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling to perform tasks.
- Working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Handling heavy loads and equipment.
- Meeting tight deadlines and managing workload effectively.
- Working in a physically demanding environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in a construction environment.
