Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to provide essential care and assistance to clients in a private household setting. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring support.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a caregiving role.
Work Environment

The position is based in a non-smoking household, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere for both clients and caregivers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as required.
  • Assist clients with bathing and maintaining personal hygiene.
  • Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Prepare and serve balanced and nutritious meals.
  • Accompany clients to various appointments and social events.
Required Certifications
  • Valid CPR Certificate is mandatory.
