Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at SP Trucklines Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Logistics Oversight: Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of transportation and supply chain activities.
  • Planning and Organization: Plan and organize operational logistics, including dispatching personnel, managing schedules, and coordinating with other work units or departments.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Performance Reviews and Development: Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Dispatch and Scheduling: Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced transportation and logistics environment, collaborating with a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Transportation, Private sector
  • Supervision: 5-10 people
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Work Term: Permanent, Work Language: English, Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week
