Job Title: Millwright Industrial Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Industrial Specialist to join our team at K-Indu. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have experience working at heights, in noisy environments, and with confined spaces. They will also be comfortable working with dusty conditions and physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment.
  • Install machinery and equipment.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification.
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Hoisting and Rigging Training.
  • Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.

  • Conveyor systems.
  • Fans and blowers.
  • Hydraulic systems.
  • Industrial and stationary engines.
  • Pneumatic systems.
