Job Title: Millwright Industrial Specialist

K-Indu. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Millwright Industrial Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Millwright Industrial Specialist to work on various industrial equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment, as well as supervising other workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery
  • Supervise other workers and ensure the smooth operation of the work site
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the trade
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in equipment and machinery
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Hoisting and Rigging Training
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with conveyor systems, fans and blowers, hydraulic systems, industrial and stationary engines, pneumatic systems, power tools, pumps and compressors, tool grinders, welding equipment, and hand tools
  • Knowledge of start-up and testing, shutdown operations, renovating and restoring, rigging and handling, troubleshooting, centering and setting to elevation, bearing, seals, and packing
