Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Taxi Driver to join our team at Steinbach Taxi. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Services: Pick up passengers and drive them to their desired destinations, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Clean and make minor repairs to the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Assist passengers with luggage and in boarding vehicles, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect fare and record transactions accurately.
  • Complaint Resolution: Attend to complaints or difficult passengers in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a valid Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle licence (Class 4 or E) and a valid driver's licence.
  • Background Checks: Pass a criminal record check and a driver's validity licence check.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, sit for extended periods, and lift heavy objects as required.
Work Environment

As a Taxi Driver at Steinbach Taxi, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with clients and colleagues on a daily basis. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
