Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Unity House Society.

Job Summary:

The Continuing Care Assistant will provide personal care and support to our clients in a group home setting. This is a permanent position with a bi-weekly schedule of 80-120 hours.

Responsibilities:
  • Accompany clients on outdoor recreational activities
  • Perform personal care tasks, including taking blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Supervise clients' exercise routines
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a healthcare setting an asset
  • CPR Certificate and Mandt System training required
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
