Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Unity House Society.

Job Summary:

The Continuing Care Assistant will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being. This is a permanent position, requiring a minimum of 80 to 120 hours bi-weekly.

Responsibilities:
  • Accompany clients on outdoor recreational activities, promoting physical and mental well-being.
  • Perform personal care tasks, such as taking blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, as required.
  • Supervise clients' exercise routines, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting a sense of belonging.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Mandt System training and CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and driving record check (abstract).
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
