Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Tax Wave Solutions Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks.
  • Work Environment: Willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced environment.
