We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at THE CHOPPED LEAF. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all food service operations run efficiently and effectively.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience.
    • Monitor and address any issues or concerns, taking proactive steps to prevent problems and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, providing valuable insights for business improvement.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
