Food Service Supervisor

At SUBWAY SANDWICH AND SALADS, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant data.
- Establish work schedules and supervise staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with regular exposure to food preparation and handling.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:The Food Service Supervisor will work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
