Responsibilities

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Research & Project Planning

Act as the lead Expert for multiple concurrent client projects in collaboration with Consultants and other Experts. Serve as a thought partner to the team on all project aspects by identifying and developing a rigorous approach and strategy (e.g., identifying priority targets through market research, utilizing data tools, and defining parameters to deliver client solutions effectively). Engage daily with project teams, proactively sharing updates, insights, soliciting feedback, and asking clarifying questions to advance client projects and anticipate future needs. Guide the project team throughout the search processes to drive strategy, candidate solutions, and supporting client materials with a consistent focus on quality and efficiency. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential candidates through a comprehensive research process, leveraging the internal Firm network and external resources. Collaborate across various Firm offerings to enhance understanding of our solutions and identify the best approaches for individual client needs. Produce high-quality client documentation (e.g., candidate profiles, role specifications, search strategies, assessment reports, etc.).

Business Development

Work alongside client teams to develop pitch presentations and business development materials, tailoring deliverables and solutions to meet specific client requirements. Proactively initiate, shape, and drive effective business development activities and related projects, including monitoring relevant market shifts in a segment or function, company updates, and personnel changes. Collaborate with consultants to create targeted event lists for business development-related dinners, conferences, and other networking opportunities.

Knowledge Management

Contribute to the Firm's knowledge management efforts by seeking opportunities to share expertise and best practices, building a network of professionals within an industry or functional area, and documenting relevant information. Stay informed on market news to keep the Industrials team updated on the latest developments in the sector and position the team for success. Develop a subject matter expertise area, providing strategic guidance and high-quality insights on significant trends and topics to support client teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience (post-undergraduate). Demonstrated functional experience in a similar capacity (e.g., market research, qualitative or legal research, professional services/consulting, project planning). Basic understanding of at least one segment in industrials (i.e., automotive, energy, machinery or industrial technology, chemicals, etc.). Previous project-based experience managing multiple mandates simultaneously. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Exceptional critical thinking and analytical capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Interest and affinity for the executive search industry. Strong engagement management skills and the initiative to lead projects with minimal guidance. Proven ability to constructively challenge and propose solutions. Forward-thinking, structured, and process-oriented mindset. Self-starter with sound business judgment.
