Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Business Process Engineering, the Senior Business Process Analyst is tasked with designing and supporting business processes within the Securities and Treasury Operations division. This role demands extensive knowledge of investment products and capital market operations, alongside exceptional communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop trade processing workflows for new investment products and oversee transactions throughout their lifecycle.
- Conduct regular reviews and analyses of existing processes to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a backup for the Director during Operational Readiness Committee meetings.
- Engage in initiatives concerning regulatory changes and execute User Acceptance Testing.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure that trade details meet the requirements for all applications and reporting.
- Share knowledge regarding new investment products and strategies with the team.
- Create and maintain workflows and procedural documentation for knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of investment products such as equities, bonds, and derivatives.
- Strong foundation in capital market operations and Investment Operations processes.
- Familiarity with related processes including valuations and accounting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient in business analysis, project management, and time management.
- Capable of meeting tight deadlines while managing competing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities.
- High initiative and professionalism.
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of investment systems and trading platforms.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Visio, and SQL.
- A university degree in Business or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Completion or enrollment in a professional designation program (e.g., CFA) is advantageous.
- Understanding of investment accounting standards and principles.
