Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process patient specimens, including blood samples and other biological materials
  • Enter patient and test information into our database, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Sort and transport specimens to the laboratory, following established protocols
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Work collaboratively with our laboratory team to meet quality metrics and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma and completion of a Laboratory Assistant training program or Medical Lab Assistance course with phlebotomy specialization

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
