Carpenter - Residential / Light Commercial

We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team at Handyman Connection of York, ON. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the cutting, shaping, and installation of building materials for construction, remodeling, or repairs in residential and light commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities- Build, install, and repair structures and fixtures using various wood types and wallboard
- Determine appropriate materials and quantities for projects accurately
- Assess customer needs, estimate project costs, troubleshoot issues, and communicate work details to clients
- Valid Driver's License and clear background check
- Own tools, vehicle, and reliable references
- Experience in remodeling or home repair fields
- Successful completion of a screening process
- Independent Contractors need liability insurance and workers' comp
- Access to a smartphone and the internet
- Competitive compensation of $30-45 per hour or up to $1,900 per week, based on your skills and availability
