Position: Seasonal Kitchen Support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in various aspects of food preparation, including cooking from scratch, finishing dishes, plating, and garnishing
  • Maintain an organized mis-en-place list and ensure cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Safely and efficiently operate kitchen appliances
  • Adhere to recipes and menu guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
  • Keep work areas tidy and comply with health and safety regulations
  • Engage in daily team meetings and undertake additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the culinary field
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities
  • A positive mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Valid FOODSAFE Certificate
  • WHMIS certification is an asset
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
