Position Overview: Landscape Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the evaluation of urban and landscape integration studies for significant infrastructure initiatives in both urban and natural environments.
  • Assess environmental considerations for projects involving hydroelectric, wind energy, digital infrastructure, transportation networks, and real estate developments.
  • Perform site assessments to identify strategic, technical, spatial, landscape, environmental, and regulatory challenges to inform design decisions.
  • Develop comprehensive master plans and relevant analyses.
  • Engage in innovative research focused on environmental assessment techniques, landscape studies, and the integration of design principles.
  • Design public areas, parks, recreational spaces, pathways, and parking facilities, taking into account environmental, human, functional, morphological, aesthetic, and economic aspects.
  • Produce layout sketches, initial plans, and budget estimates.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to propose effective project solutions.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, urban planning, environmental science, geography, or related disciplines.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant area is advantageous.
  • At least ten years of experience in a comparable position.
  • Proficient in written and spoken French, with basic English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated autonomy and strong research capabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; skills in Photoshop and InDesign are beneficial.
