Reporting directly to the Associate VP of Leasing, the selected candidate will oversee daily leasing department functions and focus on addressing vacancies across office, industrial, and retail properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Leasing, Property Management, and Asset Management divisions.
  • Monitoring lease timelines and critical dates.
  • Maintaining and updating internal databases and spreadsheets.
  • Entering data into company systems accurately.
  • Organizing and managing filing systems efficiently.
  • Conducting property tours as required.
  • Fostering relationships with brokers and tenants.
  • Supporting tenant meetings and facilitating internal/external communications.
  • Collaborating closely with real estate agents to gather market intelligence.
  • Preparing analyses and documentation for lease agreements.
  • Processing invoices and coordinating marketing initiatives and special events.
  • Engaging in the annual budgeting process and handling various ad hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate leasing, with a focus on Industrial and Office properties preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with industry-standard leasing practices.
  • Understanding of leasing documentation, real estate brokerages, and commission structures.
  • Experience with Yardi software is advantageous.
  • Capability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Analytical skills for financial assessments and lease abstracts.
